Why Sinad
WHY SINAD Analyzer is a Windows application for measuring SINAD, SNR, THD and THD+N from receiver audio. It includes real-time spectrum and trend displays, automatic 1 kHz tone tracking, logging, pass/fail limits and support for FM, SSB and CW measurements.
The program can also control an HP 8656B signal generator via GPIB and automatically determine receiver sensitivity at a selected SINAD or S+N/N threshold.
Designed as a lightweight single-EXE WinForms application for practical receiver testing and alignment.
