Qrm @144mhz 10 element LFA with SA
Just playing around at different locations to see the noise at 144MHz with the spectrum analyzer. I do have problems with local noise and there are many possible sources for that since I live in a area with lots of houses.
I'm using my Tektronix 2712 with the SA preamp on.
First without the LFA antenna connected. 5MHz / division.
180 deg. S.
250 deg.
270 deg. W.
360 deg. N.
60 deg. NE.
90 deg. E. The spikes comes from time to time.
Same as above but with a homebrew bpf filter before the SA. About 3db difference.
The filter has about -0.5 db loss @ 144MHz. (TG setting -10).
Here 200kHz /division, with bpf. First @ 270 deg. Which for me is the quiet direction.
And @ 360 deg.
